Inside an apartment where the space was squander like if it was useless, we cut into the bulk a new display where each square meter is precious and can be used.
We rationalized every space adapting it to the way of life of our client’s family. Closets and shelves were added in every room. The kitchen was totally re-conceived. The rooftop was transformed into a wooden deck terrace accessible through big sliding glass windows.
公寓原本的空间设计十分浪费，利用率很低。我们打散原结构，设计出一个崭新的面貌，好像每一平米都十分珍贵，可以发挥作用。每一个空间都经过理性设计，适应客户家庭的生活方式。壁橱和书架在每个房间都有配置。厨房重新构思。顶层转变成一个木质地板露台，能通过滑动大玻璃窗看到。
The transformation includes :
- reducing the size of the entrance and adding closets,
- modifying the wall between the 2 bedrooms to have more practical spaces and adding closets,
- totally rethink the kitchen part into 2 functions : preparation and cooking. Creation of an open bar giving more light to the entrance corridor and a new perspective from the living/dining. Next to the bar a new enclosed room for cooking is created.
- incorporating the previous balcony to the living/dining by pushing out the windows,
- this new glass wall, with a big sliding glass door, gives access to a new rooftop terrace.
- the master bathroom size is increased and the wall between the bedroom is transformed into a folding panels wall that allows to open totally the bathroom to natural light.
The whole process included the destruction of almost all the non-bearing walls in order to transform this apartment but the result is a much more enjoyable living area.
