英特尔科技馆 · Competition — Intel Group
This show room was imagined for Intel, to be built on the occasion of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. Behind a dark, faceted facade glowing from within around the Intel logo, the building unfolds over three floors, each organized as a sequence of individually themed rooms rather than one continuous space.
The first floor presents Intel's technologies. Visitors are welcomed in a Lobby of glowing pixel-patterned walls and floor, lit by the "Intel Inside" wordmark, before a Corridor leads them past a room tracing the brand's History, its blue walls lined with portraits of Intel's founders and chips displayed like relics. Further along, a sculpted, cave-like Rest room in saturated reds and purples offers a pause, before opening onto the Olympic room, where five rings — each wrapping a different chip or circuit board — celebrate the Winter Games partnership.
The second floor turns the conversation from the chip to the world it powers. In the Showcase hall, a crystalline, mirror-faceted room in silver and blue, screens and installations illustrate the everyday applications made possible by Intel's technology, from connected cities to smart devices.
The third and top floor steps away from the exhibition altogether, opening onto a Café and lounge beneath a starlit, snow-streaked ceiling, where a long sinuous blue sofa curves past screens of Olympic athletes — a place for visitors to sit back and take in what they've just seen.
